Judges have singled out Kriptomat for exemplary work in combating financial crime and complying with government regulations.
TALLINN, ESTONIA – FintechX is proud to announce that its Kriptomat cryptocurrency trading and investing platform has been short-listed as a finalist in the International Compliance Association’s Compliance Awards Europe 2023.
Kriptomat has achieved this recognition in the Small Business Compliance Team of the Year category.
Being short-listed for an ICA award provides independent validation of the Kriptomat compliance team’s hard work and commitment to best practices. This much-deserved recognition will help Kriptomat demonstrate the value of compliance in building trusted relationships with customers and business partners in Europe and around the world.
Award entries were reviewed and assessed by a judging panel comprising senior compliance and financial crime prevention leaders who were looking for outstanding achievements, innovation, collaboration, and excellence across individual submissions, team projects, and business initiatives.
The ICA Compliance Awards recognize teams and individuals across the financial crime prevention and regulatory compliance community. The awards feature 19 categories designed to recognize the initiatives and achievements of the compliance community over the past 12 to 18 months. The categories are split across four key themes, including celebrating teams, recognizing individuals, praising collaboration, and showcasing innovation.
“Others may see regulatory compliance as a nuisance,” said Dejan Davidović, chief operating and integrity officer of FintechX, “but our team has transformed it from a necessary burden to a key strategic pillar and competitive advantage.”
Kriptomat team members have established a culture of compliance and integrity throughout the company, introducing a business-thinking approach that moved compliance out of its traditional underestimated support role and into a strategic business function that adds tangibly to the company’s value. “Customers know we are committed to our role as a regulatory white knight in the crypto industry,” Davidović said.
“We would like to congratulate Kriptomat on being nominated in the category of Small Business Compliance Team of the Year,” said ICA President Bill Howarth. “We look forward to welcoming them to the ceremony in April, where they can join us in celebrating and recognizing excellence in financial crime prevention and compliance. The industry professionals, businesses and teams who work in this important field all have a vital role to play in keeping our societies safe and they deserve visibility and recognition for their outstanding work, day in and day out. The awards provide a platform to reward their achievements, network with their peers, share knowledge, and exchange best practices in innovation, collaboration, technology adoption, and team and individual performance.”
Winners will be announced during a private awards ceremony at Hilton Bankside, London, on 27 April 2023.
