Kriptomat has successfully completed three ISO recertifications, highlighting our unwavering commitment to security, compliance, and ethical governance. These achievements demonstrate our commitment to ongoing improvement and a proactive approach to upholding the highest international standards.
“Although obtaining the certifications is time-consuming and requires real commitment, in a fast-changing environment like crypto, they give our users and partners peace of mind, and help all our customers know that we approach security and transparency with the utmost importance,” said Kriptomat’s COO and Board member Dejan Davidovic. “This has been a long and time-consuming process, but we know we are in the business of trust: it’s a worthwhile investment that helps to prove Kriptomat’s dedication to quality, resilence, and compliance.”
Firstly, Kriptomat has completed the recertification for ISO 27001:2022, the globally recognised standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It was an extensive and complex project, led by the information security team and supported by many others across the company. It marks a significant upgrade from the previous iteration and confirms that Kriptomat’s systems, processes, and controls align with the latest best practices for information security management. Moreover, earning this recertification reflects Kriptomat’s ongoing commitment to protecting the data, assets and trust of our customers and partners.
In parallel, Kriptomat has also completed the recertification and upgrade to ISO 37001:2025, the updated international standard for Anti-Bribery Management Systems, released in February of this year. This standard provides a comprehensive framework to help organisations effectively prevent, detect, and respond to bribery risks. By achieving certification in line with the latest version, we demonstrate our ongoing commitment to ethical behaviour and our adherence to the highest international standards in anti-bribery practices.
Alongside those ISO recertifications, Kriptomat has also completed the recertification for ISO 37301:2021, the standard for Compliance Management Systems (CMS). This certification enables us to establish, implement and continually improve compliance programs, ensuring they meet all relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical obligations.
The last two projects were initiated in January and led by the compliance team, with valuable contributions from across the company. Their sustained efforts over many months brought us across the finish line with strong, successful audit outcomes.
