Buying a cryptocurrency is the first step in joining the crypto revolution – and in establishing a crypto investment portfolio.
Before you can buy cryptocurrency at Kriptomat, you must create an account and verify your identity to satisfy the Know Your Customer requirements of Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation. These measures help us keep you and your Kriptomat account secure.
Once you have opened an account and verified your identity, you’re all set. This video shows how easy it is to buy cryptocurrencies at Kriptomat.
- Log in to your Kriptomat account
- Go to the “Buy & Sell” section.
- Select a cryptocurrency to purchase and specify how much you wish to buy. Your purchase amount can be expressed in euros or Bitcoins.
- Click “Preview transaction” to see the details of your purchase.
- Approve the transaction by clicking the Buy button and acknowledge the details by pressing “Got it.”
Note that although it may take a few seconds or longer for the funds to be transferred to your wallet, the transaction is confirmed when you press the Buy button. It cannot be changed or canceled.
That’s all there is to it! The entire process takes less than a minute.
