What is Stepn?
Stepn is a unique game in which each player earns tokens for moving around outdoors – as verified by their smartphone GPS system.
It starts when you download the Stepn app for iOS or Android. To start playing, you must use the app to create a Stepn wallet and transfer some Solana SOL coins to it – enough to purchase a virtual sneaker representing your fitness level and ambition plus gas fees. Once you’ve got SOL in your account, you can visit the Stepn marketplace and purchase a Sneaker.
Each sneaker has different attributes: durability, speed, repairability, luck, comfort, resilience, and so on.
Once your account is established, you’re ready to start earning in-game tokens for being active. You’ll earn one Green Satoshi Token (GST) for every five minutes of activity. Once you have reached level 30 within the game, you can switch to earning Green Metaverse tokens, or GMT.
The game has anti-cheating features, randomly awarded prizes, integration with social media, and many more features to encourage players to earn more tokens and be more active.

How to Buy Stepn (GMT) Tokens Now
1. Set up a MetaMask wallet
MetaMask is a crypto wallet that is implemented as a browser extension on PCs and an app on mobile devices. Visit metamask.io and select “Download” and you will receive the proper version for the device you are using. Follow the instructions to complete the installation. Create a wallet and password.
Under Settings, select Networks > Add Network. Follow the instructions to add the BNB mainnet to your MetaMask wallet.
Use the Account Details menu on MetaMask to display the numeric code that is your MetaMask BNB wallet address.
2. Purchase BNB tokens at Kriptomat
Use the tool on this page to purchase BNB tokens. Specify your MetaMask BNB wallet address as the recipient. Visa and Mastercard support means you can complete this process in minutes.
3. Swap BNB for GMT at PancakeSwap
Navigate to PancakeSwap, press Connect, and select MetaMask.
Start by swapping some of your BNB for Wrapped BNB, or WBNB. There’s no transaction fee for this swap, but don’t swap your total BNB balance – you’ll need a little BNB to pay the transaction fee in the next step.
Now you can swap WBNB for GMT. This is why we advised you to save some BNB – to pay the transaction fee.
4. Add the GMT to your MetaMask wallet
The Stepn GMT tokens are yours at this point, but they may not be visible in your MetaMask wallet until you add them manually. Visit coinmarketcap.com and locate the token contract address for GMT, then open MetaMask, select “Add token,” and paste in the address.
5. Play Stepn
Now that you have GMT tokens, you can get full access to all the features of Stepn.
