Risk adjusted strategy equalizes risk across constituents – it overweights low-volatility coins and underweights high-volatility coins. Each constituent’s contribution to portfolio risk (volatility) is the same.
Risk parity weighting achieves higher Sharpe ratio (risk-adjusted returns) in good times, and is relatively resilient to drawdowns in bad times.

Among other things, a cryptocurrency needs to have, in order to qualify for inclusion in the index, sufficient market value, liquidity, security and reliable data feed from exchanges. With monthly rebalancing, any change in market regime is captured and integrated into the strategy quickly.
Strategy is calculated with daily closing prices and circulating supply from coingecko.com. It excludes stablecoins.
