Fees and limits
Account opening and monthly maintenance fees
You will not be charged a fee to open a Kriptomat account and there is no fee related to the monthly maintenance of your Kriptomat account.
Payment method and bank transfer fees
Depending on your location we offer you different payment methods such as credit/debit cards and different payment wallets. The methods can be used for EUR instant secure purchases, recurring purchases, or withdrawals.
When using the chosen payment method, you will be charged a transaction fee. The fees are dynamic depending on the order value, your location, card type, location of card issuer, and transaction type. Fees are calculated at the time you place your order and are displayed in the transaction preview.
We charge a fixed 1€ fee for EUR SEPA deposits and withdrawals.
Please note that in some cases your bank, card issuer, or payment wallet provider may charge additional fees.
Buy/Sell/Exchange fees
We charge fees when you use the Kriptomat app to buy, sell, or exchange cryptocurrencies. Fees are calculated at the time you place your order and may be determined by a combination of factors, like your selected payment method, the order value, market conditions, order type and/or your transaction history.
Fees are displayed in the transaction preview screen before you submit your transaction and may differ for similar transactions. By completing an order, you are agreeing to pay the applicable fees for that transaction.

Spread
Depending on market conditions, the liquidity of the asset you are trading, and the size of your order we might include a spread in the quoted price. Spread can be also included in the exchange rate when you exchange from one crypto to another crypto. Quoted prices and/or exchange rates are shown on the transaction preview screen before you confirm your transaction.
Spread increases the likelihood a transaction succeeds and allows us to execute your order faster with the quoted price. Note that the spread may differ for similar transactions.
KriptoEarn
There are no fees for adding or withdrawing assets to/from KriptoEarn. We do charge a commission calculated from the rewards you receive from the network. Our standard commission is 10%.
The APY and rewards shown in your Kriptomat account show the earnings you receive after our commission.
Changes to Fees, and Spread
From time to time, we might test changes to fees and/or spread or we might change fees and/or spread due to changes imposed by our payments/banking partners or market conditions.
Sometimes this will result in broader changes rolled out across different regions, assets, order sizes, and types of trades.
EUR fee rounding
Our fees are calculated to two decimal places and all fees which might exceed this limitation are rounded up. Rounding is executed in such a way that the second decimal digit is always one digit value higher than it was before rounding. For example; a fee of 1.123 will be charged as 1.13.
Minimum trade amount
The minimum allowable trade value is calculated dynamically for each trading pair based on market conditions. The value is always displayed to you before you confirm the trade.
Account limits
Customer current account limits are displayed in the Limits section of My Account. Limits can change dynamically and will be different depending on multiple criteria (account tier, customer risk score, transaction history, your account history, your region, etc.).

Crypto withdrawal limits and fees
The minimum crypto withdrawal/sending amount is calculated dynamically based on current market conditions. This limit is usually in the range of 15-25 EUR, but keep in mind that it can change. The amount is always shown before you confirm the transaction.
When withdrawing cryptocurrencies you will be charged a fixed withdrawal fee in the currency you are sending. The fee includes the blockchain transaction fee also known as the miner’s fee.
